Heat-treated Ash decking wood is produced by thermally modified North American grown
Ash to temperatures in excess of 200ºC. During heat treatment, chemical and structural changes occur within the timber which change and improve some of its basic characteristics. The resulting product is more durable and stable timber, an ideal material for use in exposed areas such as external patios. Ash is procured from regions that take responsible care of forest sustainability. Ash can be regarded in general as wood species that is available in good volume in the Northern hemisphere.
