Magnet S: one of Exterpark’s game changers

Magnet S is one of Exterpark’s patented game changers: a fixing system engineered to eliminate the drawbacks of conventional decking installation.

Magnet S keeps every fixing hidden beneath an invisible profile, so no screws or joints interrupt the walking surface. The deck is fully demountable, with individual boards that can be removed and replaced without dismantling the surrounding deck. A traditional installation system is also available for selected products.

Specified for landmark architectural projects

Exterpark Plantation Teak FSC decking was specified for the Louvre Abu Dhabi, designed by architect Jean Nouvel. In Barcelona, Exterpark Elondo FSC decking was specified for Rambla del Mar, one of the city’s most recognisable waterfront public spaces. Exterpark Angelim FSC decking has also been specified for the Waldorf Astoria Resort in the Maldives and for the ceiling at Royal Atlantis, Dubai.

Frequently asked questions

What wood species does Exterpark Wood offer?

Exterpark Wood is available in four collections: Elondo, Cumaru, Teak and Ipe, all tropical hardwoods.

Who supplies Exterpark Wood decking?

Exterpark is the manufacturer and supplier of Exterpark Wood, its natural wood decking range for residential, architectural and hospitality projects.

Is Exterpark Wood FSC® certified?

Exterpark Wood is available with FSC® certification across its collections.

How is Exterpark Wood decking installed?

Exterpark Wood can be installed with the patented Magnet S screwless system or with a traditional installation system, depending on the product.

How does the Magnet S system work?

Magnet S secures decking boards using a patented fixing mechanism with an invisible profile, keeping every screw and joint hidden beneath the surface. The deck is fully demountable, with individual boards that can be removed and replaced without disturbing the surrounding deck.

What is the invisible profile?

The invisible profile is the part of the Magnet S system that conceals every fixing beneath the decking surface, so no screws or joints are visible when walking on the deck.

Is Exterpark Wood suitable for architectural and hospitality projects?

Yes. Exterpark Wood has been specified for projects including the Louvre Abu Dhabi (Plantation Teak), Rambla del Mar in Barcelona (Elondo), and the Waldorf Astoria Resort in the Maldives (Angelim).
